About the author/family: Her married name was Jean Parke Holm long before this work was published. Her only child, Celeste Holm, was a star on Broadway and a popular supporting actress in Hollywood. Her grandson, Theodor Holm Nelson, came up with the idea of hypertext in 1960. Both Celeste Holm and Theodor Holm Nelson were raised by Jean Parke and Theodor Holm.
